Easy measurement of Baumé degree Baumé degree is used as an indicator of specific gravity (density). The MF2RFM-BM96812H converts sugar content (% Brix) to Baumé degree. This is based on a table from the AOAC International approved method, allowing for reliable measurements. 1 Baumé degree is approximately equal to 1.8% Brix, and in fully fermented wine, it corresponds to about 1% alcohol.

The MF2RFM-EG96831H and MF2RFM-PG96832H are industrial series that measure the concentration (% v/v) of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol, as well as freezing temperature. The MF2RFM-EG96831H is for ethylene glycol, while the MF2RFM-PG96832H is for propylene glycol.
